The top choice for Ho’okipa Beach parking is the lot near Ho’okipa Lookout, especially if you plan to continue on the Road to Hana towards Hana and Haleakala National Park.
This is crucial because the road becomes one-way beyond this point, and the farthest exit won’t allow you to return to Hana Highway heading towards Hana.

As you descend, you’ll reach the pavilions at a higher elevation. You can easily access the beach from there.
